Cordelia "Delia" Katherine Valentine Abbott is the late daughter of William "Billy" Abbott and Chloe Mitchell. She was born February 16, 2009 (later changed to February 16, 2005) and died on October 14, 2013 after being hit by a car. She has two younger paternal half-siblings, brother John "Johnny" Abbott IV and sister Katherine "Katie" Abbott.
Chloe became pregnant from her on/off relationship with Billy in New York. Chloe knowing that Billy wouldn't stand by her decided to past off her child as Billy's assumed half-brother Ethan "Cane" Ashby. Chloe and Cane married shortly before Billy returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin. After Billy arrived in town he so discovered that he was the father of Chloe's unborn child. Billy and Chloe allowed everyone to believed that Cane was the baby's father. Billy then started dating Cane's ex-fiancee. Delia was delieved by Billy and Chloe and soon after the birth it was revealed that Billy was the father.
Chloe and Billy got engaged to be parents to Delia but Billy didn't want to be with Chloe was wasn't looking to be a father. Chloe and Billy later married but it didn't last long. The couples soon split and moved on. Chloe got custody after the divorced. Billy moved on with Mackenzie Browning and later married Victoria Newman while Chloe dated Delia's cousin Phillip "Chance" Chancellor IV and married Kevin Fisher.
Once Billy got together with Victoria, Billy was a much more active father with Billy and Chloe sharing custody of her. Billy and Victoria later welcomed Johnny from a one night stand that Billy had with Chelsea Lawson. Chloe and Chelsea soon became friends. In October 2013, Delia was hit by a car driven by Victor "Adam" Newman Jr., Chelsea's husband. Delia died from her injuries at the hospital. Billy and Chloe do donated cornea to Chelsea and Adam's son Connor Newman who would go blind without them. It is later revealed that Adam was the one who hit Delia.
